hair

I recently visited Tai’s hairdresser’s before going to university to get my hair cut. I had previously been once before to get my hair coloured as a mystery shopper. I was impressed by the welcoming faces and friendly tone as the receptionist welcomed me in asking if I wanted a drink. As I was shown to a seat my stylist (Sam) had a long consultation with me about what look I was trying to achieve and also what colour tones I wanted. She seemed very experienced and I felt she fully understood what I wanted to have done. I was then shown to the hair washing area. On my first visit I found that the sink was uncomfortable but having written my report this was much improved on my second visit as I was asked about how the tilt of the sink was and the water temperature. Whilst getting my hair washed I also received a head massage which was relaxing and free. Sam was quick and efficient whilst colouring and cutting my hair and I was ready to leave sooner than I expected, but without the feeling of being rushed or neglected during the process. She had me chatting throughout my time there. As I went to pay I was surprised by their prices as I expected their prices to be higher. With this 50% first visit and 20% permanent discount I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Tai’s and will be booking an appointment for when I return at Christmas.

  2. The most random thing – is it April 1st already!?

  3. WTF ? ?

  4. Do you think they do a similar service with beards?

  5. MTFU!

  6. Eh? How random is that! (Do I have to wear a wig on rides now?)

Hope tonight was good – did Jim bring his pizza cutter?

  7. I have been searching for a new hairdresser recently. Now all my prayers have been answered . Brighton mtb . The one stop shop for all your folicular and wheeled needs.
This could be a subtle, yet effective way of getting us to write ride reports on a more frequent basis perhaps. If i had the time and inclination i would research to see if this has been cut and pasted , or someone really does have far too much time on their hands.

  8. Own up Rich

I know youre wife’s got a hair salon….I’ve seen you’ve recently become all marketing savvy, what with your once black van now being plastered in pictures of your handiwork.
It’s obvious you thought this would be a good place to start a viral marketing campaign on her behalf. I just hope the follow up article will be on how to deal with sweaty helmet hair and look good post-ride.
