Cotic Hemlock mk1
A while ago our good friends at Freedom Bikes in Brighton lent us their Cotic Hemlock mk1 demo bike for a day out in Houghton Forest. It was our usual test loop over natural terrain with a healthy dose of singletrack, off-piste sections and some gnarly stuff. We had a great day and the Hemlock was seriously good fun, in fact it fitted in so well we didn’t really notice it and had to stop and check it out every now and then. Continue reading

Mud-Bath
It seems all mtb riders in our part of the world are seeking ways to eliminate the effect of South Downs mud on their bikes. After many months deliberation I came to two conclusions; 1) use a hardtail frame and 2) eliminate the rear and front derailleur.
